About Carolyn:

Carolyn Copeland is a passionate journalist and broadcasting professional with more than seven years of diverse experience writing, editing and producing for web, print, TV and radio.

A self-proclaimed “news junkie,” Carolyn is well-versed in covering local, state, national and international news. She has written and reported for multiple major newspapers including the San Francisco Chronicle, Palo Alto Weekly and San Francisco Examiner.

Carolyn also has extensive mass media experience in major market broadcasting. She has worked as a news writer and producer for KGO Radio, a news writer for ABC7 News (KGO-TV) and a traffic producer for iHeartMedia.

She currently produces a daily talk show for 50,000 watt KGO Radio in San Francisco. In addition, she writes copy for the station website and podcasts. She is also the co-creator and producer of the hit web series, IN THEIR SHOES, a weekly interview show. The web series features individuals who have a unique perspective on life with the goal of creating empathy for those whose experiences differ from our own.

As a writer, Carolyn understands the importance of constructive criticism and detailed feedback. She launched Carolyn Copeland Consulting as a way to assist students and professionals who need a second opinion on their work, require major rewrites or have trouble marketing themselves in such a competitive job market.
